Ever wonder who lived in your house or what it looked liked over 100 years ago? It is not very common to be able to find photos, and researching owners can take countless hours, but sometimes things line up and you get lucky. Here you will see the block situated just north of Chestnut St, west of Jackson St, south of North St and East of Grove St from 1874. In the south east corner you will notice a lot with a house owned by C. Heald. By chance the historical society was able to find this photo of C. Heald standing out in front of his home in 1893. It is a neat glimpse into Dansville’s past.
