Family Wassail

½ gallon apple cider

1 (46 oz) can pineapple juice

1 (46 oz) bottle cranberry juice cocktail

1 orange, thinly sliced (wash well and leave peel on)

5 cinnamon sticks (or 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon)

1 Tablespoon whole allspice berries (or 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice)

T Tablespoon whole cloves (or 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves)

Pour juices into large pot.  Add orange slices and spices.  Bring to a boil and reduce heat.  Simmer gently for 20 minutes.  Remove orange slices and strain out whole spices (if using) before serving.  Refrigerate leftovers.  Enjoy hot or cold!
